Game
Development Workshops
The computer
and video game industry has a wide range of career opportunities for
many skill sets. Just some of the career possibilities include art,
programming, designing, writing, audio, voice acting, management,
marketing, or even playing games for quality assurance. By bringing
diversity behind the scenes of game production, new unique games can
enter the market and influence generations.
This workshop
will educate youth about the full spectrum of the game development
process by guiding them through team development, concept design,
and implementation. Youth will leave the workshop with a playable
game they have created with a team, as well as a wide range of information
about game development and ways to continue their education in arts
and technology as they consider their upper level education and future
career.
The remainder
of this site is written for Students in Grades 6, 7, and 8.
